Context
The standard weight of this coin was 2/33 troy ounce or 29.1 grains. According to Krause, this piece was struck for circulation in British Guiana (where it was equivalent to 1/4 guilder) and the West Indies. However, more specialised references such as Spink SCBC and Collectors' Coins GB indicate that this single year issue was only for use in British Guiana.
