Front design
The obverse features the coat of arms of Colombia, which includes a shield divided into three sections. The top section has a pomegranate on a field, the middle section has a Phrygian cap on a pole between two cornucopias, and the bottom section has a ship on a wavy sea. Above the shield is an Andean condor with outstretched wings. The coat of arms is flanked by two Colombian flags. The inscription "TRES CIENTOS PESOS" encircles the top half of the coin, and the number "300" is at the bottom. Small stars are placed around the periphery.
